Apricot seed oil, comprised of a vital amount of Vitamins A and C, is commonly used in massage to moisturize prematurely aged, dry, dehydrated, delicate or sensitive skin. It is also sooths inflammation, relieves stress and helps vitalize face, hands and hair. Apricot seed oil also contains both oleic and linoleic acids – essential fatty acids needed by the body. Importantly, it has softening properties and is quickly absorbed into the skin without oily residue, something necessary for aromatherapy massage.
